Fix The program can’t start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer with WAMPserver

When trying to start WAMPserver on my Windows 10 machine, the following error occurred at my machine: The program can’t start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer

The MSVCR110.dll error may also occur when trying to install Age of Empires, WAMP server or Witcher 3

1-minute fix for The program can’t start because MSVCR110.dll is missing

The easiest solution to solve this is to install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4.  Depending on the software you wish to install you need to install either the 32 bit or the 64 bit version.

1. Click on the following Microsoft link to download: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
2. Download the 32bit or 64bit version of Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4
3. Install and reboot your computer. Reinstall or start Wampserver.

The file names are typically vcredist_x86 or vcredist_x64, depending on the bit-version you need to install. The installation is suitable for most OS’s, including Windows 7 and Windows 10.
