After my upgrade to Windows 10 1903, I kept getting this iaStorAfsServiceApi.dll error about Intel Optane Memory Pinning:
Intel Optane(tm) Memory Pinning
Unable to load DLL ‘iaStorAfsServiceApi.dll’: The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007001
It’s not the first time I’m getting DLL errors after a Windows update. It happened before with Logitech Logilda.dll and it will happen again in the future. No problem, as long as we are able to fix it. 🙂

Hi Kate,
It’s NOT a virus. Just an error in the software of Intel Optane
I can not uninstall or modify. I get this message….
the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
I get the same.
Same error here. It’s looking for “ShellPackage.msi”, which doesn’t exist anywhere on my Dell Inspiron 17 5000.
Same problem here. The missing file is C:\Users\_my_user_name_\AppData\Local\Temp\IIF852E.tmp\, which is not on the computer. This is so annoying! Can anybody post this file?
Worked great for me. Thanks!
